The most surprising and completely unwanted from them is nose-bleeding and if they more often attacks you in the latter half of the pregnancy.

What causes Nose- bleeding?- It is actually not a problem that hurts or have any such harm for the baby in the womb but this is undoubtedly is an irritated situation. During pregnancy body have to face changes and also major changes in hormones also takes place and nose- bleeding is there because of hormones progesterone and oestrogen misbalance in the body. During pregnancy the flow of blood also goes high and the mucous membrane of the nasal area goes tender and makes the veins of the nasal area swelled and that is the prime reason for nose bleeding. How to Treat the condition?- Usually the condition is completely harmless for both mother and the baby and in maximum of cases it goes away after the birth of child but in case you are having excessive bleeding then can apply pressure to the nose and for that you need to pinch it for 5-10 minutes. You can also either sit down or lie down with your head up. Application of ice pack would be great for you and for that when you have nose-bleed then dip a towel in ice cold water and place that over bleeding nose. You can also wrap some ice cubes in towel and use in the same way. Another effective solution for you is to mix a pinch of salt in a spoon of water. And then using a dropper put 2-3 drops of saline water in nostrils. All of them are excellent ideas but consulting the doctor is also necessary.

Preventive Measures?- There is obviously nothing one can do for preventing hormonal changes in the pregnancy time but if the nose-bleeding is very often then you can try some of the preventive measure that can lessen the problem a bit. The most important thing you can do is to keep yourself well hydrated and reason for same is tender mucus membrane results in dryness to nose and then only the capillaries used to pop. You can also drink fluids in much amount on regular basis. Along with make your nose moisturized and for that you can put some drops of the lukewarm mustard oil in both nostrils. This would give your nose a kind of protection. Also, try to avoid any kind of hit or blow to the nose and nose should not stiff because all the condition gives way to bleeding.
